Hey ho! How's everyone? Hope you are all doing great! Greedy little me is suffering from indigestion from TOO MUCH BREAD! Yeah, it's possible in France to have an overdose of pain. (bread in French)Funny how les pains are causing pain in my stomach now. What a weird name of bread isn't it? Moderation moderation. Perhaps the French dude/babe who came up with the French word for bread had indigestion and stomach pains for eating too much bread too! Haha! How apt!

Work has been pretty smooth and is still pretty smooth. The French workplace is..... right, you've guessed it! Slack. Nothing compared to SG. In fact, even a slacker like me find it slack. But don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. Life is pretty good now. Just crossing my fingers and hoping things go well. The moolah is coming in. How good it is to feel like a useful person again. Although the work I am doing is just helping rich people with their accounts and helping them get richer.. not exactly a great contribution to the society. Haha. Never thought I'm the working in the bank kind. 9-5 job in the office. Nothing challenging. Nothing stimulating. Just following a little flowing stream and see where it's going to lead me.

Having a good balance of Paris and Normandy in my life is a pretty good thing. Being able to live in Europe, feasting my eyes on the grandeur of the architecture in Paris the vast meadows of green with pretty flowers of many, many colours and coniferous trees that I only read about in geography or science textbooks in school is a big big blessing indeed.

True, we win some, we lose some. My family and my friends are still in Singapore. To the world, I am just one person. But to one person, I am the world. And the reverse is true and applies to that person. Thus, I am happy and contented.

We tend to lose sight of our happiness and blessings when we are in too much of a comfort zone. We take things for granted and lose our temper over nothing. We have high expectations of those we love and yet we end up hurting them the most due to these expectations.

Life is just life. At the end of it all, it's not about how much you have achieved, how much money you have earned or how much glory, status or estate that you have gained. The most important thing is to treasure the ones you love and the ones who love you.

Love is patient. Love is kind. Je t'aime mon chou. =p
