The first snow flakes fell at 12.30am on 24 Jan 07 and I was the first to witness it as everyone was asleep. Heard the pitter pattering on the roof tiles and thought it was going to rain again. But hey, those white flakes outside the windows are nothing like rain! "It's snowing!" I had thought to myself! I hurriedly ran and switched on the spot light outside the house! The white flakes swirling all around, covering the grass with a pure whiteness! I was so excited! My first heavy snow fall! So romantic! Such a rush of feeling came over me. Yet, I was alone. In the quietness of the night, as the snow fell, I was the only one seeing the earth shrouded with the first touches of the white magic. Reminded me of this sad poem that I had come across in secondary school..

江雪

千山鸟飞绝

万境人踪灭

孤舟簑笠翁

独钓寒江雪

Thanks to the kind peeps out there, this poem is finally corrected. My chinese is going down the drain... sobz

In the meantime, I'm down with flu and sneezing my nose away.. coughing my throat out! Give me my health back, s'il vous plaît! =)
