These newly weds are joined by holy matrimony on the 23rd September 2006. Presenting the lovely Christelle and her hubby Yann Montbobier.

This was my first French wedding since I've arrived in France. Christelle is the daughter of my mum's-in-law best friend. She is almost like her daughter too. Friendly and charming, I warmed up to her instantly. The wedding began at church where an all French service was held. Hearing our "Our Father" in French was something very interesting indeed.

The scene which took place outside the church was a noisy, albeit festive ones. Firecrackers were thrown all over the place as they explodes everywhere. Car honkings were as loud as thunder. It must have been thousands of decibels! Shouts and cries of congratulations and beaming French men and women made that a very pretty picture indeed.
